Let me be forthright and get everyone up to code. Technology is our new religion. No question. Whatever religious diversity there is, or religious wars being fought, forget them; they’re over. Done. Outdated as Windows Vista. The Almighty Inspiration of our contemporary collective consciousness is AI (Artificial Intelligence). The second coming has arrived. Alleluia.
I discovered this while attending a webinar on the future (and majesty) of media marketing. Here are the updates. We are in year zero of this infamous event, announced by Phil Easter of American Airlines. Jenny Thomassian, a Google disciple, reassured us that the Google God is deeply devoted and invested. The Amazon Archangel was not in attendance, but sent a message it would definitely be heralding The Way. Facebook Fundamentalists are building a big-tent platform that will hold us all. No need to fear – there is room on Mark’s Ark! Mark Zuckerberg knowing of The Coming, spoke at his company’s annual developers and creators conference a few days ago. He said Facebook’s goal in advancing AI technology is to “build systems that are better than people in perception.” Praise be to Mark. He believes in the future, and in bots and bottom lines, as we all should. He wants you to know that you, too, can share in the vision by owning an Oculus Rift VR headset. Just to make sure we're all on the same page, here’s the devoted Techtarget.com’s definition for AI. “AI is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. These processes include learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using the information), reasoning (using the rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions), and self-correction.” I feel sure Techtarget.com meant to use the word commandments rather than rules – no sin here. And although I hesitate to question, I’m unclear about how the rules or commandments were received. This, I believe, is where faith comes into play. As for self-sacrifice and suffering, it wasn’t mentioned in the webinar. Although yesterday, I did lay to rest my outdated laptop. The computer technician advised me to let go and sacrifice the cost for a new one. Of course that’s what I should do; I knew that. The webinar’s theme centered around Good News and Prosperity with the advent and creations of AI: Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality. It is indeed a new world(s) and time of change. BTW, Phil Easter ended his sermon with, “If you don’t go into AI, fear is the path to the dark side.” What a joyous time of year to have this revelation come to pass. I am thankful and blessed, and looking forward to year one. Not only do I seek and SEARCH, I’m a crusader! Join me. |
