Plug-in Potential

Plug-in, defined by TechTerms.com, is an add-on for a program that adds functionality. One example is a Photoshop plug-in, such as Eye Candy, which adds extra filters to manipulate images.  Other well-known plug-ins include Adobe Flash Players and QuickTime. The incorporation of animation, manipulating images, and creating
and storing sound is second nature to our computer experience today. We expect it and would not consider having less capability. 

We can add to our functionality, too, and expand our capabilities.  Our systems are equipped to support the personal plug-ins that are in place. They can be downloaded rather quickly just like their software counterparts. You simply need to recognize a kind of unofficial knowledge is available and then give it rein. It can appear as a unique perspective, and at times a knowing. These plug-ins loosen the hold of patterned perspectives and standardized definitions. They allow a kind of freeform thinking and feeling; they are more associative than linear.
 
As an example, the recognition of unusual or indefinable emotional states and experiences is difficult to explain, and yet they exist.  Our language appears set as it distinguishes, categorizes and objectives our experience. Our language states that a sunset is the daily disappearance of the sun below the western horizon, not a song.  Within our language, the sky cannot sing, and a landscape is not conscious, nor does it have arms and therefore cannot knowingly embrace. In essence, my explanation of what I feel and experience at times when viewing a sunset would, in fact, be false. However, I believe my experiences to be valid and real. They are simply a different way
of perceiving– they are a different kind of truth. A potential.

There are numerous times I’ve skated the surface of an event - blinders on to any depth perception and the significance of symbolism.  But not lately.  It would be like going back ten years in computer functionality and
capability. Who would do that?
